You're Not Sober . You can't legally get tattooed while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, but it's in your best interests to be sober anyway. Yes, people make stupid decisions when inebriated, but that's not even the worst reason. Alcohol thins the blood, which would make for a messy tattoo that'd have a hard time healing.

Tattoos are a mockery to God and one of the most ridiculous things ever is they even have Christian tattoo shops. You can not put the Christian name tag on something that is pagan. Many people don’t want Christ. They would rather follow the trends of this world and add His name in there to follow them.

People get tattoos for many reasons: for attention, self-expression, artistic freedom, rebellion, a visual display of a personal narrative, reminders of spiritual/cultural traditions, sexual motivation, addiction, identification with a group or even drunken impulsiveness (which is why many tattoo parlors are open late).

Truth be told, the author is right in some sense, tattoos are not for everybody. Tattoos are not for the shallow people who cannot see beyond skin deep. They are not for the realists who cope with the sudden departure of a pet by watching the news. They are not for the free-spirit that has multiple quotes she lives by and is proud to show off her bitter sweet love quotes by Anais Nin or her battle quotes by Winston Churchill.
